Nurturing Community – Webb Lake Community Club

WEBB LAKE COMMUNITY CLUB – FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE COMMUNITY

The Webb Lake Community Club (WLCC) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization ‘Working for the Betterment of Our Community’ for over 50 years. Its purpose is to support and provide community service throughout Burnett and the surrounding counties. WLCC meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Webb Lake Town Hall.

Some of our fundraising events include two rummage sales in May and August, Ladies of the Lakes Luncheon in the fall and fun auctions held during club meetings. Funds raised are given back to local 501(c)(3) organizations such as local food shelves, area fire departments, family resource groups, local literacy groups, and local animal shelters. WLCC has, for the past two years, sponsored Northwest Alliance Community Foundation’s Know Your Nonprofits Expo in Siren. Other club activities include making/distributing Christmas Cheer Baskets, crafting activities at local nursing homes and other community service projects.

WLCC will begin collections for their May 16-17 Rummage Sale the week of April 21st continuing weekly until May 13th.  Donations are accepted on Monday and Tuesday from 9am – 12pm at the Webb Lake Town Hall, 31000 Namekagon Road, Webb Lake, WI  54830.
