A CELEBRATION OF PHILANTHROPY
Philanthropy is always a reason to celebrate. Northwest Alliance Community Foundation (NACF) is planning their celebration at the upcoming annual ‘Celebration of Philanthropy’ Gala on September 7. As in the past three years, this event is a gathering to honor all those with an altruistic spirit and passion to help others in our community. The Celebration of Philanthropy is a fundraiser. We encourage you to join us to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how you can support your community.
A special individual will be joining the Gala celebration as our 2024 keynote speaker. NACF is grateful, and truly honored to have this special guest sharing their heartfelt philanthropic story and message of time, talent, and ‘legacy gift’ treasure, with a special announcement.
The 2024 Gala program also includes a new, unique activity. Auctioneer Glenn Meier will be leading a live auction of items and experiences almost exclusively furnished by the NACF Board members themselves. From a hand-crafted quilt and ‘Irises’ painting to a family portrait session and start-to-finish maple syruping experience. There’s sure to be something which will pique your interest and help support our efforts.
This year ‘support our efforts’ takes on a more critical request for action. In response to the impact of a new NACF focus on increasing endowment funds, the NACF Legacy Gift Campaign will formally launch the evening of the Gala. You’ll want to be there to learn about this new and exciting campaign. Legacy/endowed gifts make a difference as they grow over the years to help fulfill the needs of our community today, tomorrow and forever!
As in prior years, several of NACF’s nonprofit grant recipients will be available at the Gala to share their partnership story and the resulting positive impacts for the area’s residents.
